The ‘Roos were founder members in 1991 of the Barkly Australian Football League and have so far contested three grand finals. In 1999 and 2001 they lost heavily to Elliott and Sporties respectively before making it third time lucky with a 13.10 (88) to 12.5 (77) grand final defeat of Sporties in 2007.
