Formed: 2000, by means of an amalgamation between the Central Coast Australian Football League (CCAFL) and the Newcastle Australian Football League (NAFL). Clubs in this league compete for the Black Diamond Cup, which was originally donated by the Richmond Tobacco Company, well over a century ago, for competition between clubs in the Newcastle area.
