BOX HILL NORTHCurrent Affiliation: Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA) since 2002 Home Ground: Elgar Park, Box Hill North Formed: 1983, through the merger of Blackburn United and St Andrew's Box Hill Football Clubs Colours: Red and navy blue Emblem: Demons Senior VAFA Premierships: Nil Senior Competition Best and Fairest Awards: Nil Formed in 1983 when the St Andrew's Box Hill Football Club amalgamated with Blackburn United, Box Hill North was admitted to D Grade in the Eastern Suburban Churches Football Association (ESCFA) the same year. Over the next decade and a half the club twice contested D Grade grand finals, losing to Lower Plenty in 1986, and beating Dandenong West five years later. When the ESCFA merged with the Southern Football League (SFL) Box Hill North continued in the new competition until 2002, when it crossed to the VAFA. It has spent the last five seasons in D4 Section, reaching the finals for the first time in 2006, and ultimately finishing 4th.
