They have also been runners-up on four occasions. Brinkworth Spalding Redhill Football Club - more commonly referred to simply as BSR - was the product of a merger in 1987 between two clubs which had themselves been born out of amalgamations, Brinkworth Yacka Spalding and Gulnare Redhill. In 2008 BSR’s seniors had a poor season, managing just 3 wins from 17 minor round matches to finish second from last in the eight team competition. This was followed by the indignity of a wooden spoon in 2009. Where now? or
