Carlisle Amateur Football Club has been involved in the Western Australian Amateur Football League for over forty years.  The club's league side currently competes in D Grade, but has been as high as A Grade in the past.

In addition to the four premierships attained by its league team, Carlisle has so far won another seven flags in various other grades.
