In 1994, faced with rising costs and ever diminishing human resources, the Minlaton, Stansbury and Curramulka Football Clubs opted to join forces rather than resign themselves to a lingering but inevitable death. The Crows were quick to establish themselves, but had to endure the disappointment of three consecutive losing grand finals against Wallaroo before breaking through for a first senior flag in 1999. Further premierships have since been added in 2003 and 2006.
