Quite aside from its commendable record in terms of premiership victories Collegians is the sort of club which perfectly embodies and enhances the amateur ideal. Historically, the club has boasted strength across all the grades, with a high proportion of its colts players progressing through the ranks to senior level. Currently boasting three senior and two colts teams the Blues are one of the largest amateur football clubs in Western Australia, and their total of twenty-one flags across the various grades since 1965 makes them also one of the most successful. Their most recent premiership came in B Grade in 2010 thanks to a 13.14 (92) to 12.9 (81) grand final defeat of Maddington.
