Since forming through a merger between Collie and Mines Rovers in 2002 the Eagles have been a consistently strong force, capped by their successive senior grade premiership wins in 2004 and 2005. Prior to the merger Collie had claimed South West Football League premierships in 1972 and 1987, whilst Mines Rovers had claimed senior grade premiership success four times.
