The club first joined the South Australian Amateur Football League in 1962 and won an A3 premiership, the first of an eventual three, on debut. After the third such success in 1978 the Tigers spent more than two decades competing in A2 Grade without once contesting a grand final. They finally achieved promotion to the SAAFL’s top grade in 2000 since when they have consistently been among the competition pace setters. The Tigers first qualified for the division one grand final in 2003. Opposed by Broadview they won a low scoring clash convincingly by 24 points. Since then there have been two further grand final appearances, in 2003 and 2005, but on both occasions Gaza lost to Goodwood Saints. Before they joined the SAAFL Gaza competed in the North Adelaide Football Association, claiming a total of three senior grade flags. Where now? or
