HAMERSLEY CARINE

Current Affiliation:  Western Australian Amateur Football League (WAAFL) since 1974

Club Address:  P.O. Box 38, Wembley, Western Australia 6020

Home Ground:  Carine Reserve

Formed:  1974

Colours:  Maroon, gold and white

Emblem:  Hawks

Senior WAAFL Premierships:  B Grade 2006 (1 total); D Grade 1977 (1 total); E Grade 1990 (1 total)

The Hawks were born in 1974, and initially fielded just one team in the Western Australian Amateur Football League's E Grade competition.  Their top level senior side has won three premierships, in D Grade in 1977,  E Grade in 1990, and, most recently, in B Grade in 2006.

The 2006 season was an excellent one for the club all round.  In addition to the senior team's 11.14 (80) to 9.13 (67) B Grade grand final triumph over Stirling the Reserves won their premiership at the expense of CBC, while the Thirds finished as runners-up.

The Hawks found life in A Grade in 2007 inordinately challenging, and managed just a single win for the season, consigning them to last place and relegation to B Grade for 2008.  The reserves (2 wins) and Thirds (3) did slightly better than the seniors.
