Senior Grade Premierships: South West Gippsland Football League (SWGFL) - 1967-8 (2 total); MPNFL Northern Division - 1997-8 (2 total)

The Redbacks were long standing members of the South West Gippsland Football League, claiming back to back premierships in 1967 and 1968. When the SWGFL was absorbed into the Mornington Peninsula Nepean Football League in 1995 Hampton Park was one of the inaugural members of that competition’s Northern Division, precursor of today’s Casey Cardinia League. Since commencing in the MPNFL the Redbacks have enjoyed senior grade premiership success twice. In 1997 they accounted for Doveton in the grand final by 14 points, 16.12 (108) to 14.10 (94). The following year Seaford were their grand final victims, with the Redbacks triumphing by 41 points, 17.13 (115) to 11.8 (74). There have been no further grand final appearances since, although the seniors have contested the last four finals series. The reserves meanwhile reached back to back grand finals in 2006 and 2007, but lost them both.
