Huntly has competed in the Heathcote District Football League since the club’s formation in 1986, but has yet to claim a senior grade premiership. Recent seasons have been inordinately disappointing with the side finishing last in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 without a win, and 2008.
