The club has enjoyed similar success in the Saturday competition, playing in nine of the ten grand finals since 1997 and emerging victorious from six of them. In 2006, Kenwick's Sunday League side, coached by David Hanley, overcame mixed form during the home and away series to perform strongly when it counted. After qualifying for the finals in third place with a 12-6 record the Royals overcame Thornlie by 24 points in the qualifying final, Kelmscott by 8 points in the 2nd semi, and Gosnells by 25 points in the grand final after leading by just 2 points at the last change. The Saturday team achieved premiership success even more recently after comprehensively downing Roleystone in the 2008 grand final. Final scores were Kenwick 20.14 (134) defeated Roleystone 9.9 (63).
