The Power have contested the last three senior grade grand finals, losing by 9 points to Timboon in 2008, turning the tables to the tune of 50 points a year later, and overcoming Dennington by 8 points in 2010. The reserves also claimed their first flag in 2009 and were runners-up the following year.

Prior to the merger both Noorat and Kolora had been members of the Heytesbury Mount Noorat Football League since it was established in 1992, and prior to that had competed in the Mount Noorat Football League since that competition was founded in 1932. Both clubs had enjoyed a considerable amount of success, with Kolora having won thirteen senior grade premierships, and Noorat ten.
