The Tigers were a force to be reckoned with in the old Kowree-Naracoorte Football League, a competition in which they were founder members in 1937. They were particularly strong during the 1950s, '60s and '70s, winning a total of seven A Grade flags. In 2006 they narrowly failed to qualify for the finals, finishing level on points with 5th placed Border Districts, but with a marginally inferior percentage.
