When the RFL folded at the end of the 2003 season Lindenow South transferred to the Omeo District Football League, in which it has so far tended go struggle. Between the wars Lindenow South competed initially in the Lindenow Football Association, and later in the Bairnsdale Bruthen District Football League. Information about both of these competitions is difficult to uncover, and it is not known how much success, if any, the club achieved. Following world war two Lindenow South affiliated with the Bairnsdale District Football League, in which it won at least one flag, in 1962. The club was a founder member in 1974 of the East Gippsland Football League, in which it spent a dozen seasons, the last two of which saw it competing in the short-lived second division. In 1986 this second division was replaced by a new competition, the RFL, in which Lindenow South enjoyed immediate premiership success. Their eventual haul of four senior grade flags was a competition record, albeit that it was shared with two other clubs in Newry and West Bairnsdale. Where now? or
