The Demons have yet to claim a senior flag, with losing grand finals against Streatham-Mininera-Westmere Rovers the closest they have come. The club’s reserves team has managed to break the ice, however, going top in 2002. In 2008 Lismore Derrinallum ran third (of ten) in both seniors and reserves, with Tatyoon inflicting the preliminary final coup de grace in both instances. A year later the reserves again reached the preliminary final before losing after extra time to Hawkesdale Macarthur, while the seniors' season was brought to an end at the elimination final stage by Moyston Willaura.

Lismore and Derrinallum had been long standing rivals in the Western Plains Football League prior to their merger. Both clubs had enjoyed considerable premiership success in the competition, with Lismore going top in senior grade on ten occasions and Derrinallum on nine.
