MACLEOD (Macleod Rosanna)Current Affiliation: Northern Football League (NFL) since 2007Home Ground: De Winton Park Formed: 1947 as Macleod Football Club; renamed Macleod Rosanna in 1962; reverted to Macleod in 1998 Colours: Blue, white and gold Emblem: Kangaroos Senior Grade Premierships: Diamond Valley Football League (DVFL) - 1971 (1 total) Since the turn of the century Macleod’s seniors have been consistently strong performers, initially in division two of the Diamond Valley Football League, and more recently in division two of the Northern Football League, which replaced the DVFL in 2007. However, the ultimate prize of a premiership, which brings with it promotion to division one, has proved elusive. Indeed, the only senior grade flag in the ‘Roos’ fifty-plus year history was claimed as long ago as 1971, when the DVFL operated as a single division competition. In addition to its premiership, Macleod has played off in senior grade division two grand finals on four occasions: in 1982, 2006, 2007 and 2008. Where now? or
