Mallee Park has a quite outstanding record for such a comparatively new club. In thirty seasons of football the ‘Peckers have qualified for no fewer than twenty-four senior grade grand finals, winning thirteen of them. The club has also proved to be an excellent nursery for AFL talent with the likes of Peter and Shaun Burgoyne and Byron Pickett playing their early football there.

Some of Mallee Park’s premierships have been won in spectacular fashion. In 1988, for instance, the ‘Peckers trounced Tasman in the grand final by 102 points, 28.26 (194) to 13.14 (92), while two years later Marble Range was on the receiving end of a 92 point hiding. Then in 1993 Mallee Park trounced Bostons by 101 points, 28.16 (184) to 12.11 (83).

Most recently, the 'Peckers claimed 'back to back' premierships in 2009 and 2010 with grand final victories over Marble Range by 48 points in the former year and Tasman by 31 points in the latter.
