MULLEWA

Current Affiliation:  Great Northern Football League (GNFL) since 1963

Colours:  Black, white and red

Emblem:  Saints

Senior GNFL Premierships:  1966, 1983-4, 1987, 1991, 1996 (6 total)

J.J. Clune Medallists:  John Rowan 1964-5; Greg McAuliffe 1973; Dave Barnard 1974; Ken Pense 1976; Ashley Taylor 1985; Revis Ryder 1987; Darryn Tunbridge 1991; Jason Simpson 1996; Peter Keeffe 1999; Dwayne Simpson 2002 (10 Medallists/11 Medals)

Admitted to the Great Northern Football League in 1963, the Mullewa wasted little time in establishing itself, winning a reserves premiership on debut, a senior flag three years later, and a second reserves flag in 1967.  The club then endured a prolonged run of 'outs' until the seniors broke through for their second premiership in 1983, immediately followed by another.  The Saints performed strongly in both the 1980s and 1990s, and their ability to produce footballers of high quality is readily evidenced by their feat in producing more Clune Medallists - 11 in all - than any other club.
