Home Ground:  Naracoorte Oval

Colours:  Navy blue and red

Emblem:  Demons

Senior Premierships Since 1950:  Kowree-Naracoorte Football League (KNFL) - 1953-4, 1959, 1963-4, 1977-8, 1992 (8 total); KNTFL - 2006 (1 total)

Formed in 1946 by a merger between North Naracoorte and South Naracoorte, Naracoorte Football Club has carved out a proud record for itself in the six decades since.  Between 1946 and 1992 the club competed in the Kowree-Naracoorte Football League, winning a total of 8 premierships from 13 grand finals.  The club recently added to that tally with its first premiership in the Kowree-Naracoorte-Tatiara Football League, in which it has competed since 1993.  Fourth after the 2006 minor round, the Demons upset the odds in three successive finals, accounting in turn for Border Districts, Lucindale and Kingston, en route to a grand final encounter with a Keith side that, in the previous meeting between the teams in round 13, had won at a canter by 78 points.  The grand final was a vastly different affair, however.  For most of the match there was less than two goals splitting the teams, and in the tension-packed closing minutes it was Demons players who were full of running, turning around an 8 point deficit at the 22 minute mark of the last term to win by 12 points, 14.16 (100) to 13.10 (88).  The victorious Dees were captain- coached by former West Adelaide and Sturt player Dean Woosman, who was playing in his last game for the club after four seasons.
