During its brief, four year involvement in the Canberra National Football League, the Naval team went from a premiership in its debut season to a wooden spoon in its last. The premiership came via a 14.16 (100) to 9.19 (73) grand final defeat of Royal Military College, and Navy went within a point of repeating the result in the following year's play-off against Eastlake.
