Prior to joining the Essendon District Football League in 1952 the club participated in several different competitions, including the VAFA, which it joined in 1927, and from which it was expelled owing to the persistently unruly behaviour of its supporters two years later. On obtaining admission to the VAFA, the club assumed the name of Raeburn, but twelve months later it reverted to Pascoe Vale. Its first senior EDFL premiership was won in 1964, in C Grade. Its second, and so far only other, senior flag came in B Grade twenty-four years later. With in the region of 400 playing members (not including AusKick) Pascoe Vale provides the local community with an important social and recreational outlet. In 2006, the club enjoyed a good all round season, highlighted by the seniors and reserves both qualifying for the B Grade finals. A year later the seniors got as far as the preliminary final, while the reserves reached the 1st semi. Where now? or
