FULL POINTS PUBLICATIONS
Full Points Publications was launched in March 2008 with the aim of making material of a broadly similar nature to that which appears on the website available in a more enduring, printed form. The Full Points Publications launch title, published in 2008, was The Encyclopedia Of Australian Football Clubs Volume One, the first in a projected four volume set covering most of the clubs to have competed at senior level in the code's history. Volume One deals with clubs from the AFL and all designated state or territory competitions (SANFL, WAFL etc.). Volume Two, which was published in May 2009, contains profiles of present day third tier senior grade clubs whose names begin with the letters A to Me. Volume Three, published April 2010, covers the remainder of the alphabet. As an adjunct to the encyclopedias a series of state or territory specific companion volumes is being produced. The first three books in the series, Full Points Footy's WA Football Companion, Full Points Footy's SA Football Companion and Full Points Footy's Tasmanian Football Companion are out now. For further information about the six titles currently in print, including sample pages and details of how to purchase copies, visit http://stores.lulu.com/fullpointsfooty Alternatively, all six Full Points Publications titles can now be purchased direct from me, so if you prefer not to use Lulu, simply drop me a line with your requirements, either via the site's feedback form, or by email. All Full Points Publications titles are now stocked by Amazon. After accessing the Amazon site you can find them by entering the search string "full points footy". You can also purchase the books from two Australian stockists: 1. www.sportswriter.com.au which, in addition to its online presence, has a physical shop that you can visit at 63a Broadway, Glenelg, South Australia 5045. Their telephone numbers are 08 8294 9083 (daytime) and 08 8376 7119 (after hours). You can also contact them by email - see their website for the address. 2. Melbourne Sports Books which has a website at http://www.melsportsbooks.com.au/. You will find an email contact address on the website. More Australian stockists are in the pipeline - details to follow. Of course, you can still purchase any of the books via Lulu or else direct from me - see the Latest News page for instructions. However, unless you particularly want a signed copy, you will probably, if resident in Australia find it more convenient (and cheaper) to purchase the books locally. |
