Roxburgh Park Football Club's senior team was formed in 2005, and admitted to the Essendon District Football League's B Grade competition the same year.  It managed to win 6 of its 17 fixtures in its debut season to finish 11th.  The Magpies improved somewhat in 2006, and their tally of 8 wins secured 8th place on the ladder.  They showed further marginal improvement in 2007, ending the season with 8 wins and a draw which once again saw them placed 8th.
