Formed:  1963 as a result of a merger between Bankstown, Liverpool and Paramatta Football Clubs; renamed Liverpool in at the end of the 1980 season

Colours:  Navy blue and white

Formed at the end of the 1963 season following a merger between Liverpool, Bankstown and Paramatta, Southern Districts existed for sixteen seasons as a member of the New South Wales Australian (National) Football League.  Its best seasons were 1967 and 1968, when it finished 4th, but more often than not it tended to struggle.
