The Sharks struggled for many years following their admission to the Alberton Football League, but recent seasons have seen them emerge as one of the competition's pace setters. They achieved their first senior premiership victory in 2004, and they have been consistently competitive since. They qualified for the finals in 2007, but had their premiership ambitions immediately derailed by Inverloch-Kongwak.
