In 1908, Ipswich boasted two QFL clubs.  However, West Moreton's existence was as ignominious as it was brief, with the club losing all 12 matches contested, 4 of them on forfeit.  The only 'all Ipswich' match in league history proved to be a complete embarrassment as far as West Moreton was concerned, with Ipswich coasting to success by the incredible margin for the times of 183 points, 27.27 (189) to 1.0 (6).
