Westmeadows' sole senior premiership success to date occurred in B Grade in 1984 thanks to a 40 point grand final defeat of Ascot Vale. The club has enjoyed consistent success in junior ranks, however. Westmeadows has had more than its share of future V/AFL footballers pass through its ranks, including 1992 Brownlow Medallist Scott Wynd (Footscray), Andrew Krakouer and Corey McKernan (both North Melbourne), Craig Ellis (Footscray), Anthony McGregor (Fitzroy) and Andrew Welsh (Essendon). Meanwhile, Chris Neilson stayed at home and won no fewer than six club best and fairest awards together with a couple of Hutchison Medals. Westmeadows contested the B Grade finals in 2005, ultimately finishing 5th. In 2006 the seniors won 8 of their 17 matches to finish 7th. The 2007 season brought a return to finals action but the side's performances were disappointing. It lost the qualifying final to Tullamarine by 76 points, and, despite managing 29 scoring shots to 21, was eliminated by Pascoe Vale in the following week's 1st semi final. Where now? or
